When AI becomes a workforce, interoperability becomes a leadership issue
AI has quickly moved from a tool you ask questions to agents that do the work. They read drawings, interpret specifications, translate between data models and follow information through a plant’s entire lifecycle. But an agent is never better than the information it can access. In the process industry, where data lives in systems, formats and organizations that rarely speak to each other, interoperability decides who can truly benefit from AI.
